Strickland's new slush fund

Gov. Ted Strickland is using the Third Frontier program as a slush fund to pay for his own pet projects, according to the Dayton Daily News.

The program was established to create research and development grants that Ohio can use to attract high-paying, high-tech jobs.  But Strickland is "raiding the program," and the DDN accuses the governor of "cutting into Ohio's commitment to research."
